Hand-Casted Brass

Our Brass celebrates the power and precision of hand casting. A wax original is invested in clay; once fired, the wax departs (lost-wax/cire perdure), leaving a perfect cavity for molten brass. After cooling, each piece is fired, meticulously filed, chased, and polished-subtle tool marks and weight revealing the maker's hand. Brass is endlessly recyclable and ages to a warm patina, or can be brightened with a quick polish.
