By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Karigarwala

Karigarwala offers handcrafted products, including homeware, decor, textiles, accessories, gifting items, and artisan-made goods. Our products are made using traditional craft processes, and natural handmade variations are part of their character.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to display products, colours, dimensions, descriptions, and prices accurately. However, slight variations may occur due to photography, screen settings, natural materials, and handmade production.

Handmade variations in colour, pattern, size, form, texture, or finish are not considered faults.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders where an obvious pricing mistake has occurred.

4. Orders

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This does not mean we have accepted the order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

• The product is unavailable.

• There is a pricing or product information error.

• Payment is not authorised.

• We suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised resale.

• Delivery to your location is not possible.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Karigarwala Ltd does not store full payment card details.

6. Delivery

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination, parcel size, weight, and delivery method.

We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, customs, public holidays, weather, or events outside our control.

For UK online orders, goods should normally be delivered within 30 days unless another timeline is agreed. GOV.UK guidance states that online sellers must provide delivery arrangements, costs, cancellation information, and key contract information clearly to customers.

7. Returns & Cancellation Rights

For UK online orders, you have the legal right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have another 14 days to return the goods after telling us you wish to cancel.

To request a return, email hello@karigarwala.com with your order number.

Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging where possible. We may reduce the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged.

Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility.

8. Non-Returnable Items

Some items may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless faulty, including:

• Personalised or custom-made products.

• Made-to-order items.

• Hygiene-sensitive products where sealed packaging has been opened.

• Gift cards.

• Items damaged after delivery due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling.

9. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email hello@karigarwala.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number.

• Clear photos of the product.

• Photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and delivery label.

• A short description of the issue.

We will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution in line with UK consumer law.

GOV.UK states that businesses must offer a full refund if an item is faulty, not as described, or does not do what it is supposed to do.

10. Exchanges, Gift Cards & Store Credit

We do not offer general exchanges for change of mind.

Where an issue is approved outside your statutory rights, we may offer a gift card, store credit, replacement, or exchange at our discretion.

Gift cards or store credit cannot be used to remove or reduce your statutory rights.

11. International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import charges, or local fees payable in their country. Delivery times for international orders may vary.

International returns must be approved before shipping the item back to us.

12. Care of Products

Many Karigarwala products are handmade using natural or delicate materials. Customers are responsible for following any care instructions provided. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, dropping, exposure to unsuitable conditions, or normal wear and tear.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including photographs, product descriptions, brand name, graphics, logos, designs, and written content, belongs to Karigarwala Ltd or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

14. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Karigarwala Ltd is not responsible for indirect losses, business losses, loss of profit, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

16. Website Use

You must not misuse our website by introducing viruses, attempting unauthorised access, copying content without permission, or using the website for unlawful purposes.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
