Bone inlay is practiced Jodhpur and Udaipur, using fragments that are ethically sourced—often from animals that died naturally. Each piece is cut, shaped, and fitted into carved wooden surfaces with care.

Artisans work through multiple stages—placing the fragments into floral or geometric patterns, filling the gaps with resin, and polishing until everything sits flush. The finish looks seamless, but the process is anything but quick.

Used across furniture, trays, and decorative pieces, it balances detail with durability.
