Leheriya—meaning waves in Hindi—is created through a precise tie-dye process, where fabric is rolled on the diagonal, tightly bound, and dyed in stages to form its signature flowing patterns. The outcome depends on how evenly it’s tied, how the colour is absorbed, and the timing of each step.

Practiced in Jaipur, this technique has been refined over generations. The colours—often vivid yellows, reds, and blues—bring movement to the fabric, while the pattern stays fluid and never exactly repeated.

Worked on cotton, silk or georgette, these pieces are worn as sarees, stoles, scarves, and turbans.

Structured in process, but always slightly unpredictable—that’s where its character lies.
